Level 02 / Main Floor: Student Spotlight
Level 02 is the primary entry point for students and staff, featuring angled wall graphics inspired by the triangular elements of the Pride flag, also seen in the "We Are Social Work" CSW brand logo. This level highlights two main storylines: graduate achievements, highlighted through photos within the wall graphics and framed images, and student research, highlighted in the main corridor displaying posters and photos from the latest Denman Undergraduate Research Forum.
Level 03: Social Justice
Level 03 emphasizes themes of amplifying voices and advocating for change, featuring prominent narratives such as the 2020 Civil Rights Protest, the annual Washington D.C. Student Fly-In, and the Columbus Pride Parade. Pattern crafted from symbols representing the college’s six core values integrates the CSW brand through out the space and local artwork proud
Level 04: Client Space
Level 04 is a dynamic shared space designed for students and visiting agency/client personnel. It features graphics and photography that highlight the values of the College of Social Work, along with its initiatives, history, and post-graduate outcomes. This level prominently includes a land acknowledgment alongside original artwork by Potawatomi artists, honoring the land’s original stewards and celebrating Indigenous heritage. Additionally, a small art gallery, in partnership with the Veteran’s Art Initiative, showcases the work of veteran artists, offering a profound glimpse into their experiences and contributions. Together, these elements reflect the college’s commitment to inclusivity, respect, and social justice.
